I am officially open for business. I am starting to charge portfolio building prices to bulk up my portfolio!

Busy

I've been so busy lately with starting my portfolio building and plus it was Joshy' 1st birthday last month so that was quite the event! I will upload cake smash and birthday pictures when I get a little more time.

I did a family shoot last week for my sister and her 6 kids! It was easier than I thought it was going to be. Those kids were troopers. Plus the jelly bean rewards probably made it easier to smile for me. :) I will be doing another family shoot in the next few weeks and they only have 1 child and I am looking forward to that!

I have also fallen in love with newborn photography.

Open for Business..... well not yet

I am looking into getting my business license and tax id stuff all together so I can open for business. Well discounted prices in a portfolio building special! It's exciting. I am working on starting a facebook fan page.

Named

Well I think I have officially named myself. .... Drumroll please....... Inspired by JB Photography.
I like it. JB is my son and well he's the one that inspired me to really get into photography so it's quite fitting I think.

10th Anniversay

I did my a shoot for my sister and her husband for their 10th anniversary.

Learning Raw

Well The newest thing I am learning is how to shoot in RAW. It took a while to figure out how to load them up onto Photoshop, but now that that's figured out. I am LOVING it! I won't be switching back to JPEG anytime soon.

Booked 2 weddings!

Well I booked my first 2 weddings......... ok they are my niece (age 4) and Nephew (age 8), so I got some time before I actually have to go shoot them. Gives me time to practice, but now I can say book your weddings now, slots are filling up fast. :P

More Practicing

Improving??

I think I am finally getting it. Manual camera settings, apature, shutter speed, ISO and exposure in general. I just wish I had more models to practice on. My son is too interested in crawling and getting into everything that I can't get him to sit still and by the time I focus in on him, He's out of the shot! And I think I am getting a little better at editing. Things aren't looking as junky as they were before. :P Little improvements are improvements none the less! Still learning everday and I am really excited to continue to improve.
